He was born in England where he studied music. From 1976 to 1979 he lived in Seville, fascinated by the local culture. To make a living in Spain, he started playing music in bars and nightclubs while also giving English classes at the local British Institute. In 1979 he moved to Barcelona where he currently lives, working as musician, composer and producer. He has recorded two solo albums and has composed the music for numerous television commercials. Since 2000, he has been working for television, writing music for cartoon series, and the RTVE children's programme, TPH.
